Since my first meeting, I have been proud of being a member of CHAS each time we are able to support the ACH or a community agency.

I had seen the positive impact CHAS had on my mom and grandma’s lives. I love what CHAS stands for and was excited to get the younger generation involved in such a great cause.

Dorothy Woolstencroft - a friend of mine whose mother was a member of CHAS asked me if I was interested in joining CHAS with her in 2001. 20 years ago! My mother had been in CHAS and had enjoyed her involvement.

Since my first meeting, I have been proud of being a member of CHAS each time we are able to support the ACH or a community agency. That community involvement is what’s best about CHAS and the funds we raise, the fellowship and the ongoing education is what keeps me an active member.

Gillian Woolstencroft - I have been involved since January 2017 - a few months after the CHAS Next group began. I had seen the positive impact CHAS had on my mom and grandma’s lives. I love what CHAS stands for and was excited to get the younger generation involved in such a great cause.

I loved the first CHAS Next fundraiser my mom and I did together which was one of the Raw Canvas paint nights! Our painting skills have greatly improved since then.

CHAS makes a positive impact on children and young adult’s lives. We choose to support organizations that aim to empower youth in Calgary and help raise awareness of issues affecting Calgary’s youth and support them where needed.
