Sabina Bahan - CHAS was introduced to me by Heide McClintock and since 2012 I have been involved with all the wonderful things that CHAS does to support kids in our community.
I had no idea how many agencies are out there needing support for the programs they offer to kids. Working together with a great group of ladies has opened my eyes to the need in our community!
When I chaired the Golf tournament, which is one of the larger fundraisers that CHAS hosts, I was able to grow my own skills. Speaking in front of large crowds was my nemesis and I had to speak in front of 160+ guests! Considering the many challenges that kids and youth in our community go thru, this was something I knew I needed to do.
Mikaela Bahan - Being in CHAS has given both my mom and I the opportunity to meet new people and build relationships as well as increased our confidence in ourselves.
I got involved in 2018 because I had been to several events with my mom and enjoyed seeing how it affected the programs it supported.
I love being a part of CHAS Next and seeing how many agencies both CHAS and CHAS Next are able to support and raise awareness in the community.
